I, Michiel Ton, recently had the incredible opportunity to photograph an event that is truly deserving of the title “Olympics of Doing Good.” The Enactus World Cup brought together national champions from over 30 different countries, each passionate about pitching their innovative business ideas aimed at creating a sustainable future for our planet.
The energy at this event was nothing short of spectacular! Participants were singing, chanting, and dancing, all while striving to make a positive impact in their communities. I absolutely loved the vibrant atmosphere and the collective enthusiasm of everyone involved.
As a photographer, I found myself facing an exhilarating challenge—deciding where to point my camera amid all the excitement. With so many inspiring moments happening simultaneously, I aimed to capture not only the dynamic pitches but also the genuine interactions, smiles, and the passion that filled the room. 👀
The positive feedback I received on my work was incredibly rewarding. Knowing that my images could help showcase the spirit of this remarkable event filled me with pride. This experience was not just a photography gig for me; it was a chance to document stories of hope and creativity that could change the world.
Being part of the Enactus World Cup was a humbling experience. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to witness and photograph individuals who are dedicated to making a difference. This event is more than just a competition; it’s a celebration of innovation, determination, and the belief that we can work together to build a sustainable future.
